Tell Me About Yourself — Best Answer for Freshers!
Almost every interview starts with “Tell me about yourself.”
It sounds casual, but this is actually your first impression.
The interviewer is not asking for your life story. They want a clear, professional introduction that shows you understand your career direction.
Your answer should briefly cover:
  • Who you are
  • Your education/background
  • Your key skills
  • Any projects, internships, or practical exposure
  • What you’re looking for in this role
Keep it around 60–90 seconds. Too long loses attention; too short feels unprepared.
A simple structure helps:
Present → Background → Skills → Experience/Projects → Career Goal
Avoid common mistakes like starting with “Myself…”, listing only marks, or sharing family details. The focus should be what you can contribute and what you want to learn.
You don’t need perfect English. You need clarity and confidence.
A calm, structured introduction immediately tells the interviewer you are serious and ready to begin your professional journey.
