As part of the Marketplace & Business Intelligence Team, you'll work on real-world AI and software engineering challenges that impact millions of users and businesses across India.

About the Role

IndiaMART is looking for ambitious engineers and AI enthusiasts who are passionate about building intelligent systems, solving business problems with technology, and working with emerging AI technologies.

You'll collaborate with experienced Product and Engineering teams while working on cutting-edge technologies such as LLMs, AI agents, automation workflows, and data-driven systems that deliver measurable business impact.

Roles & Responsibilities

Software Development

• Participate in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Develop scalable software solutions based on business and technical requirements.
• Analyze information needs, system workflows, and business processes to design effective solutions.
• Follow software engineering best practices and coding standards.

AI & Machine Learning Applications

• Build AI-powered agents and automated workflows using Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Work with modern AI frameworks and tools such as LangChain, LangGraph, and cloud AI services.
• Design intelligent systems that solve real-world business use cases.
• Create feedback mechanisms to continuously improve AI system performance.

Data Engineering & Analytics

• Implement and maintain data pipelines for AI and machine learning applications.
• Analyze data patterns, metrics, and business insights.
• Work with structured and unstructured datasets to support intelligent decision-making.

Collaboration & Technical Excellence

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across different stages of projects.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and measure impact.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Refine technical requirements to ensure alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility.

Eligibility Criteria

Required Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech (Preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology).
• Strong programming fundamentals in Python.
• Good understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Familiarity with APIs and database concepts.
• Basic understanding of AI and Machine Learning concepts.
• Familiarity with basic ML libraries.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Interest in Generative AI, LLMs, and Agentic Systems.
• Understanding of data pipelines and AI workflows.
• Knowledge of LangChain, LangGraph, or similar AI frameworks.
• Ability to work with real-world datasets and business problems.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
