Think of it as a productivity-driven LinkedIn for students. We're looking for a skilled Backend Developer to build and manage robust, scalable systems behind our fast-growing platform.

Role Overview:

As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining APIs, database systems, and backend logic that powers the platform’s features. You’ll collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js/Express.
• Design scalable and secure database schemas (MongoDB/PostgreSQL).
• Ensure smooth data flow between frontend and backend via well-structured endpoints.
• Integrate third-party services like email, login (Google OAuth), payments, etc.
• Optimize backend systems for performance, security, and scalability.
• Debug, test, and fix backend bugs quickly and efficiently.
• Collaborate in sprint planning, feature discussions, and system architecture.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of Node.js, Express.js, and REST APIs.
• Proficiency with MongoDB or PostgreSQL, schema design, and data modeling.
• Familiarity with JWT Auth, role-based access control, and secure API design.
• Knowledge of Git, Postman, and deployment tools.
• Experience with server-side performance optimization and caching is a plus.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Education:

• B.Tech / M.Tech / BCA / MCA in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
