Role Objective

As a Teller, you are the face of the bank. You will be responsible for handling day-to-day financial transactions, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring all banking operations are conducted with 100% accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Cash Management: Process cash deposits, withdrawals, and currency exchanges accurately.

Customer Service: Assist customers with account inquiries, fund transfers, and issuing demand drafts or pay orders.

Compliance and Safety: Strictly follow RBI guidelines and bank policies to prevent fraud and ensure KYC (Know Your Customer) compliance.

Product Safety: Identify customer needs and suggest relevant bank products (like savings accounts, insurance, or FD schemes) to help the branch meet its targets.

Documentation: Maintain neat and organized records of all daily transactions and perform end-of-day cash balancing.

Skills

Education: Typically a Graduate degree (BCA, B.Com, or B.A. are all great fits).

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills (English and Hindi).

Tech Savvy: Comfortable using banking software and MS Office (Excel is particularly important).

Attention to Detail: High accuracy in handling large volumes of cash and data.

Integrity: A strong sense of ethics is mandatory in a banking environment.
