Responsibilities

We're looking for a curious, driven Data & Power BI Intern to join our analytics team. You'll work closely with data analysts and business stakeholders to build dashboards, clean datasets, and uncover insights that drive product and business strategy. This is a hands-on role expect real ownership, not coffee runs.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for cross-functional teams
• Collect, clean, and transform raw data from multiple sources (SQL, Excel, APIs) into reliable datasets
• Write and optimize DAX measures and Power Query (M) scripts for accurate, performant reporting
• Collaborate with business teams to understand KPI requirements and translate them into visual insights
• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to surface trends, anomalies, and opportunities
• Build and maintain data models in Power BI (star schema, relationships, calculated columns)
• Support the data team in documenting processes, data dictionaries, and report logic
• Help automate recurring reporting workflows to reduce manual effort

What We're Looking For:

Must-haves:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Hands-on experience (coursework, projects, or internships) with Power BI -including DAX and Power Query
• Solid understanding of SQL - to write queries, joins, and aggregations
• Comfortable working with Excel or Google Sheets for quick data manipulation
• Strong analytical mindset s
• Good communication skills

Good to have:

• Exposure to Python (pandas, matplotlib) or R for data analysis
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Azure, Google BigQuery, AWS)
• Experience with data warehousing concepts (star schema, dimensional modelling)
• Knowledge of data storytelling - understand that great dashboards are a design challenge, not just a technical one
• Worked in an agile / startup environment before

Stipend: 20k per month

Location: Bangalore

Duration: 6 months

TImings: 10 am to 7 pm, 6 days a week
