About the Role

We are looking for a highly analytical and entrepreneurial Finance Intern to work directly with the founders in building Bharat Work from the ground up. This role offers hands-on exposure to startup finance, financial modeling, revenue forecasting, budgeting, and business strategy.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
• Assist in revenue forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning.
• Analyze unit economics, pricing strategies, and business performance metrics.
• Support the management of day-to-day financial operations and reporting.
• Conduct market research and financial analysis to evaluate growth opportunities.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for founders and stakeholders.
• Work closely with the founding team on fundraising preparation, financial projections, and strategic initiatives.

Eligibility

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, CA, CFA, MBA, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of financial modeling, accounting, and business fundamentals.
• Prior experience creating financial models or revenue forecasts through academic projects, internships, competitions, or startup experience.
• Excellent analytical thinking and proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and eager to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building financial models for startups or business case competitions.
• Understanding of startup metrics, unit economics, and forecasting techniques.
• Familiarity with valuation methodologies and financial planning.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Interest in startups, entrepreneurship, and impact-driven businesses.
