About the Role

SuperKalam is looking for Full Stack Engineer Interns who have already built real-world web applications and are excited to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

This is not a learning-from-scratch internship. You'll be expected to contribute to production systems, ship features quickly, and take ownership of meaningful product initiatives from day one.

The role initially involves significant frontend work while gradually expanding into backend systems, dashboards, AI-powered features, and product experimentation.

What You'll Work On

• Build high-quality web applications and product experiences
• Develop landing pages, payment flows, and user-facing features
• Create interactive and responsive frontend experiences using modern frameworks
• Build backend services, APIs, and dashboard functionalities
• Improve application performance, scalability, and user experience
• Contribute to AI-powered features and product experiments
• Develop personalization, engagement, and student success modules
• Collaborate closely with the product and engineering teams

Requirements

• Previous internship experience in software development
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript fundamentals
• Experience building production-ready web applications
• Good understanding of frontend and backend development
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables

Frontend Skills

• Experience with Next.js and React
• Strong understanding of UI/UX implementation
• Experience with responsive design and frontend performance optimization
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and modern web development workflows

Backend Skills

• Experience building end-to-end features
• Knowledge of APIs, databases, and backend architecture
• Understanding of scalable systems and caching concepts
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, or similar technologies

Bonus Skills

• Experience building AI-powered applications
• Familiarity with LangGraph, RAG systems, AI agents, or voice-based applications
• Experience with React Native
• Knowledge of NestJS, ExpressJS, or similar backend frameworks
