About the Role

Valura.ai is seeking a Growth Intern who is passionate about financial markets, business strategy, and startup growth. In this role, you'll work closely with the leadership team to identify growth opportunities, research market trends, analyze competitors, and contribute to initiatives that drive user acquisition, engagement, and brand awareness.

This internship offers hands-on experience at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, FinTech, Market Intelligence, and Startup Growth.

Roles & Responsibilities

Financial Market Research

• Research global financial markets, including equities, commodities, forex, cryptocurrencies, and macroeconomic trends.
• Track significant market events, economic developments, and industry trends.
• Prepare research reports highlighting key market insights and emerging opportunities.
• Identify trends that can support user engagement and business growth initiatives.

Growth Strategy & Business Development

• Identify potential customer segments and new market opportunities.
• Conduct market sizing and opportunity assessments for products and features.
• Support lead generation and business outreach initiatives.
• Research strategic partnerships, communities, and distribution channels to accelerate growth.

Competitor & Industry Analysis

• Monitor competitors across AI, FinTech, and financial intelligence sectors.
• Analyze competitor products, pricing, marketing strategies, and customer engagement approaches.
• Identify market gaps and recommend strategies to strengthen Valura.ai's competitive positioning.
• Present research findings and actionable recommendations to leadership.

User Acquisition & Marketing

• Support initiatives to improve user acquisition, activation, and retention.
• Research growth strategies adopted by successful SaaS and FinTech companies.
• Assist in executing campaigns across LinkedIn, X (Twitter), email, communities, and digital channels.
• Track campaign performance and recommend optimization opportunities.

Data Analytics & Growth Insights

• Analyze user behavior, engagement metrics, and growth KPIs.
• Work with internal teams to derive actionable insights from product and user data.
• Identify patterns that improve customer acquisition and retention.
• Prepare reports and dashboards to communicate business insights.

Eligibility Criteria

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in:
• Finance
• Economics
• Business Administration
• Marketing
• Data Science
• Commerce
• BBA
• BA
• Or a related field.
• Strong interest in financial markets, AI, and emerging technologies.
• Excellent research and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interpret data, market trends, and business insights.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn in a fast-paced startup environment.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in Growth, Marketing, Business Development, Consulting, or Finance.
• Familiarity with investment markets and the FinTech ecosystem.
• Experience using Excel, Google Sheets, Notion, or analytics tools.
• Understanding of startup growth strategies, digital marketing, and customer acquisition.
