Growth & Partnership_ Founding Intern
Trippal
Job Description
About the job
Most internships will have you making decks nobody reads and sitting in meetings nobody invited you to.
This one is different.
At Trippal, we're building a travel memory and AI planning platform for Indian travelers — think AI-built itineraries, trip journalling, and a way to actually preserve the experiences that matter. We're early-stage, intentional about what we build, and backed by the YC School ecosystem. The founding team is from IIT Delhi.
We're looking for one person to own growth and partnerships.
Not to assist with it. Not to support it. To own it.
What this role actually is
Distribution is the hardest problem at an early-stage startup. Good products don't grow because they exist — they grow because the right people hear about them, from the right places, at the right time.
This role sits at the intersection of outreach, partnerships, community, creator relationships, and growth experiments. You'll be figuring out which channels work, why, and how to double down on them — while also building the partner and creator relationships that give Trippal distribution it can't buy.
What you'll own
— Growth experiments across channels: test, learn, iterate, scale what works
— Partnership outreach: identify, approach, and close distribution partnerships
— Creator and community conversations: build relationships that drive authentic reach
— Revenue-linked initiatives: usage, conversions, and real business outcomes — not vanity metrics
— Founder-side execution: whatever needs to move, you help move it
Who this is for
You've probably already done something in this space — run outreach for a club, helped a brand grow its community, cold-emailed people and actually got replies, built something and found users for it yourself.
You understand that growth is not a content calendar. It is positioning, timing, channel selection, and relentless follow-through.
You write well. You think in systems. You can hold a conversation with a founder, a creator, and a potential partner — and adjust your tone for each.
You're not looking for a line on your resume. You're looking for real experience, real exposure, and real outcomes.
Working directly with the founders
You'll work alongside Tanush (Founder & CEO) daily — not through a manager, not through weekly check-ins. Real briefs, real decisions, real feedback. If you're the right person for this role, you'll learn more in three months here than most people learn in a year of conventional internships.
What you get
— Performance-based stipend
— Internship certificate
— Letter of Recommendation from the founders
— Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) consideration
— Direct founder mentorship and a front-row seat to building a startup from zero
A few honest notes
This is a founding role. It is remote. It runs for three months, Summer 2026.
You will be close to real decisions and real outcomes from week one. If you want a passive internship, this is not it.
