About the Role

PwC is looking for IT Risk Interns to join its Risk Advisory (RAS) team. You'll gain hands-on experience in IT General Controls (ITGC), internal audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews while working on real client engagements across industries.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Support IT General Controls (ITGC) reviews, IT internal audits, and controls testing.
• Assess IT processes, policies, and control environments.
• Participate in IT risk assessments and compliance reviews.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and walkthroughs to gather audit evidence.
• Document observations, identify control gaps, and recommend improvements.
• Assist in preparing client deliverables, reports, and presentations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver risk advisory engagements.
• Stay updated with industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and IT governance best practices.

Eligibility

• Pursuing or recently completed B.E./B.Tech, B.Sc., M.Sc., MBA, CA, LLM, or a related degree.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in IT risk, cybersecurity, governance, audit, or compliance.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of IT General Controls (ITGC), SOX/IFC, Change Management, User Access Management, IT Operations, and Backup & Recovery.
• Familiarity with IT risk assessment methodologies.
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
• Certifications such as CISA, CIA, or DISA are an added advantage.
