About the Role

At LSEG, we build technology that supports global markets every day. We are hiring a Machine Learning Intern to join our Innovation and Intelligence team within Operations.

We offer a hands‑on internship where you work on real data, real systems, and real business problems.

You will help us design, build, and deploy machine learning solutions across Generative AI, information retrieval, and data extraction.

What You Will Do

In this role, you will:

• Build and improve end‑to‑end machine learning pipelines.
• Train, test, and evaluate models using production‑grade data.
• Apply machine learning and Generative AI techniques to solve practical problems.
• Create prototypes to test new ideas and approaches.
• Work closely with engineers, analysts, and product teams.
• Share your work through demos, documentation, and presentations.

What We Look For

We are looking for candidates who enjoy building, learning, and collaborating.

You bring:

• Strong experience writing Python for data and ML workflows.
• Hands‑on exposure to machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Understanding of core ML concepts like classification, regression, neural networks, and transformers.
• Interest in Generative AI tools such as LangChain, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex (nice to have).
• Curiosity, ownership, and a willingness to experiment.
• Clear communication skills and comfort working in teams.

Education

• Currently pursuing a B.Tech in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Solid foundation in data science, machine learning, and programming fundamentals.
