About the Role

SuperKalam is looking for a Mobile Engineer Intern who has already built and shipped high-quality mobile applications and wants to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

You'll work directly on the SuperKalam mobile experience, building features from scratch, improving user engagement, and delivering polished, production-grade applications used by real students.

This role is ideal for candidates who love building products, care deeply about user experience, and enjoy shipping fast.

What You'll Do

• Build and ship high-quality mobile features using React Native
• Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces with smooth animations
• Work closely with product, design, and engineering teams
• Improve app performance, reliability, and user experience
• Integrate APIs and backend services into mobile applications
• Contribute to app architecture, code quality, and engineering best practices
• Experiment with new product ideas and rapidly ship improvements
• Take ownership of features from development to deployment

Requirements

• Previous React Native internship or production experience (minimum 4+ months preferred)
• Experience building and deploying mobile applications used by real users
• Strong understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript
• Knowledge of software design principles and clean code practices
• Ability to independently build complete mobile features
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Android and iOS application development
• Familiarity with native modules and bridge development
• Experience working with push notifications and background services
• Understanding of mobile app performance optimization
• Experience building personalization, learning, or gamification features
• Basic knowledge of backend systems, APIs, databases, and application security
• Experience integrating analytics, ad platforms, or third-party SDKs
