About the Role

Emergent is looking for a Product Design Intern who is passionate about creating exceptional user experiences and designing AI-first products. You'll work on products used by millions, collaborate closely with product and engineering teams, and take ownership of meaningful design projects from day one.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design intuitive and user-centric interfaces for AI-powered products.
• Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes using Figma.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to transform ideas into polished user experiences.
• Conduct user research and iterate designs based on feedback.
• Contribute to design systems and ensure consistency across products.
• Help shape experiences for autonomous AI agents and next-generation software applications.
• Stay updated with emerging UX, UI, and AI design trends.

Eligibility

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX or product design projects.
• Proficiency in Figma and modern design workflows.
• Good understanding of user-centered design principles and interaction design.
• Strong communication, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for AI, technology, and building impactful products.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing web or mobile applications.
• Familiarity with design systems and prototyping tools.
• Basic understanding of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Interest in AI products, SaaS platforms, or developer tools.
