Role Summary

Location: Lucknow (Work from Office)

Employment Type: Internship (Full-time)

Duration: 2–3 months (extendable based on performance)

Compensation: ₹5,000 (Fixed) + ₹5,000 (Variable, performance-based)

Long-term Opportunity: Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) or Equity-based role for exceptional performance

About SarthiQ:

SarthiQ is a mentorship-driven learning and career platform founded by IIM and FMS alumni. We are on a mission to transform the Indian education and employability ecosystem through research, innovation, and mentorship.

As part of this mission, SarthiQ is launching a Research Division focused on studying and publishing reports on the Indian education system — including access, policy, employability, and institutional excellence.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Research Intern who is passionate about understanding India’s education landscape. The role involves research, data analysis, and writing insights that can shape public understanding and influence education policy discussions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct secondary research on education policy, schooling, higher education, and employability trends.
  • Assist in data collection and analysis from credible sources (government databases, reports, surveys).
  • Support the team in preparing white papers, reports, and summaries on key education topics.
  • Contribute to survey design and primary data collection activities.
  • Write clear and engaging research briefs for publication under SarthiQ Insights.
  • Stay updated on education reforms (e.g., NEP 2020) and developments across states.

Who Should Apply:

  • Students or recent graduates from Education, Economics, Sociology, or Public Policy backgrounds.
  • Strong interest in Indian education, social research, and policy.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Comfortable with data, analysis, and using Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Curious, self-driven, and detail-oriented individuals who enjoy problem-solving.
