About the Role

Angel One is looking for passionate Software Development Engineer Interns who enjoy building scalable systems, solving complex engineering challenges, and creating products that impact millions of users.

As an SDE Intern, you will work on real-world engineering problems involving financial systems, market data, backend infrastructure, and AI-powered product experiences.

This is an opportunity to contribute meaningful code, work with experienced engineers, and gain exposure to large-scale systems in a fast-paced fintech environment.

What You'll Do

• Build and improve scalable software systems and services
• Work on real-time data pipelines and high-performance applications
• Contribute to AI-powered product features and user experiences
• Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions
• Debug, optimize, and improve system reliability and performance
• Collaborate with engineering teams on product development and architecture decisions
• Take ownership of projects and contribute to production-grade systems

What We're Looking For

• Strong fundamentals in Data Structures and Algorithms
• Good programming skills in one or more languages such as Java, Python, C++, or Go
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Understanding of software engineering principles and system design concepts
• Familiarity with databases, APIs, and backend development concepts
• Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-moving environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Personal projects, open-source contributions, or hackathon experience
• Strong GitHub profile demonstrating hands-on development work
• Interest in distributed systems, fintech, AI, or large-scale engineering
• Experience building and deploying software beyond academic coursework
