Software Engineer Intern – IBM

The Role

Full-Lifecycle Development: Design, code, test, and support IBM Systems products.

Core Technologies: Work on Operating Systems, Firmware, Systems Software, Storage, and Cloud Software.

Team Collaboration: Interface with global development and product management teams.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.

Programming: Strong expertise in languages like C, C++, Java, Python, GoLang, or ReactJS.

Core Fundamentals: Solid knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms, and OS Concepts (Unix/Linux internals).

Cloud/Virtualization: Experience with Red Hat OpenShift, Microservices, Kubernetes, or Docker.

Soft Skills: Strong communication for a global team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Web/UI: JavaScript, Node.js, React JS, Vaadin, Bootstrap, or Material.

Backend/Architecture: RESTful web services, GraphQL API, J2EE, JSP, Databases, and SQL.

DevOps/Cloud: OpenStack, Cloud App Dev, DevOps, and Ansible.

Advanced Tech: Understanding of AI/ML, Data Science, and NLP concepts.
