About the Role

Anakin is hiring Software Engineer Interns to work on real backend and systems engineering problems at scale.

This is a hands-on engineering internship focused on backend systems, APIs, automation, scraping infrastructure, debugging, and production reliability. You’ll work directly on real-world technical challenges instead of shadowing teams or doing isolated internship tasks.

What You’ll Work On

• Build and improve backend systems, APIs, and internal services
• Work on web automation and scraping infrastructure
• Debug production issues and improve system reliability
• Develop scalable and maintainable engineering solutions
• Ship features end-to-end with ownership
• Work closely with engineers on architecture and system design discussions

Requirements

• Strong fundamentals in Data Structures & Algorithms
• Good programming skills in Python, Java, or backend-focused languages
• Strong problem-solving and debugging ability
• Hands-on project experience in backend development, automation, APIs, systems, or web scraping
• Ability to learn independently and operate in fast-paced environments
