About the Internship

The Summer 2027 Internship Program is designed to accelerate your technical and professional growth through hands-on experience, mentorship, and collaboration with world-class engineers.

Roles & Responsibilities

Software Development

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of AI-integrated applications and large-scale systems.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable production-quality code.
  • Build features and services that support Google's products and platforms.

Systems & Infrastructure Engineering

  • Work on distributed systems, backend services, and high-performance applications.
  • Support the infrastructure powering Google's large-scale products.
  • Improve system reliability, scalability, and performance.

Problem Solving & Technical Innovation

  • Analyze complex technical challenges and develop effective solutions.
  • Apply data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles to real-world problems.
  • Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and engineering decisions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and technical stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, learning, and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to team success through effective communication and teamwork.

Eligibility Criteria

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Dual Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Experience with one or more programming languages such as:
  • Java
  • C/C++
  • Python
  • JavaScript
  • Go
  • Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Software Design.
  • Experience with distributed systems, concurrency, multithreading, or synchronization concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently in the penultimate year of study.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Machine Learning
  • Distributed Systems
