About the Role
Cummins is looking for a Student – IT to support its Information Technology team. You'll gain hands-on experience working on enterprise IT systems, business applications, technical support, and digital initiatives while collaborating with experienced professionals across the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Support IT infrastructure, business applications, and enterprise systems.
- Assist in troubleshooting hardware, software, and application issues.
- Support system testing, deployment, and documentation activities.
- Analyze data and prepare reports to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with business and IT teams on digital transformation initiatives.
- Help identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
- Participate in IT projects while following organizational standards and best practices.
Eligibility
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in:
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Software Engineering
- Computer Applications
- Or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of programming fundamentals and databases.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, software development, or enterprise applications.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Python, Java, C#, or similar programming languages.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, APIs, or automation tools.
- Understanding of data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence concepts.
- Experience with Git or version control systems.
