About the Role
As a Business Development Intern, you will play a key role in expanding Nova Benefits' customer base by engaging with prospective clients, understanding their requirements, and communicating the value of Nova's employee wellness solutions.
This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about sales, business development, startups, and building meaningful client relationships.
Roles & Responsibilities
Client Outreach & Business Development
- Connect with prospective clients through calls, emails, and meetings.
- Identify potential business opportunities and generate qualified leads.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective customers.
- Understand client requirements and business challenges.
Sales & Consultative Engagement
- Present Nova Benefits' health and wellness solutions to potential customers.
- Explain the platform's value proposition and employee benefits offerings.
- Assist in converting leads into customers through effective communication and follow-ups.
- Support the sales team in achieving business growth targets.
Customer Insights & Feedback
- Gather feedback from prospective clients regarding products and services.
- Share customer insights with internal teams to improve offerings and customer experience.
- Help identify market trends and customer expectations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams.
- Contribute to improving sales processes and customer acquisition strategies.
- Support business growth initiatives and special projects.

Preferred Skills
- Understanding of sales, business development, or customer engagement processes.
- Knowledge of the insurance or employee benefits industry is a plus.
- Experience interacting with HR teams, CHROs, CFOs, or business decision-makers is an advantage.
